International participants are welcome!
So you’ve doodled and dabbled with graphic recording, visual facilitation, and everything in between.
But you’ve been wondering to yourself:
- Can visual facilitation get serious business done?
- Can visual facilitation be business for me or get me business?
- Can visual facilitation be valued seriously by people I work with?
- Who am I as a visual facilitator? Why does it matter?
- And how might I make serious business (read: profitable and sustainable) out of visual facilitation?
For the first time, experienced visual practitioners Brenda Tan and Kailin Huang are drawing together their insights from years of visual practising regionally, to illumine your personal and professional visual practice pathway.
For everyone who has started on your visual practice path, this may be the step that will steer you onto the sustainable journey of a thousand miles.
This is NOT a “How-to-Draw” workshop.
However, if you are looking to make visual facilitation YOUR BUSINESS, or want to make your VizBiz* a SUSTAINABLE one, this is the workshop for you.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO TAKEAWAY
Discover what matters and how to make your visual facilitation matter.
Together, we will explore over the two-day workshop the themes of PEOPLE, PRINCIPLES, and PURPOSE.
You can expect to create your Personalised Practical Plan to ACT on each of the three areas during and immediately after the workshop.
+ Your Self: Who am I as a Visual Facilitator? What am I here for? Where am I now? Where do I want to be?
+ Your Clients: Who are they? What do they value?
+ Your Group: Who are they? What matters to them?
Ultimately, who and what am I responsible for? How can I fulfil my responsibilities fruitfully?
+ Your Practice: What are my core principles for designing and delivering my practice? What are steps I can and need to take in my pursuit of visual practice?
+ Your Proposition: What is my unique value proposition?
+ Your Pitch: How do I present and persuade others of the value I can offer as a visual practitioner?
+ What are my Ethos, Logos, and Pathos as a Visual Facilitator? What does it matter?
+ Where is my fit in the greater body of visual practice? How do I fit well? Should I fit in?
